St Mary’s Church in Linton will burst into bloom from 6th to 8th June as it hosts its Flower Festival, celebrating local life with the theme “Our Linton.”
Festivities begin Friday, 11am to 6pm, when visitors can admire stunning flower arrangements, browse a display of the renowned Linton Quilt, and enjoy historical photographs of the village. Refreshments and a bar will be available throughout the day.
Saturday offers an even fuller programme, with the church open from 10am to 6pm. Alongside the floral displays, guests can enjoy live music, various stalls, and more opportunities to relax with food and drink in a picturesque setting.
Sunday starts with Holy Communion at 8am and Parish Communion at 10am. From 11.30am to 6pm, the church welcomes all to view the arrangements. Highlights include a performance by Linton Jazz at 3pm, the ever-popular Duck Race at 5pm, and the grand raffle draw at 6pm.
This much-loved event promises a vibrant weekend for all ages, combining community spirit, creative flair, and local tradition.
