Unwanted tools of any kind are being collected on April 25th from 9.00 – 12.30pm at Abington School by Saffron Walden Rotary and then delivered to the Ipswich charity Tools With A Mission (TWAM) – https://www.twam.uk
The tools are refurbished and made into trade kits for people living in extreme poverty, mainly in African countries.
The tools, combined with training, help individuals start sustainable businesses and build long-term livelihoods for themselves and their families. Tools needed are agricultural, gardening, builders, carpenters, electrical, mechanical, plumbers, power, sewing and knitting and haberdashery.
